Wunstorf/Germany, 10 October 2005. phoenix|x-ray, leading manufacturer of
microfocus and nanofocus® X-ray systems and computed tomography systems today
announced the opening of the new Service and Support Centre for Northern Europe
in Helsinki-Vantaa.
The new branch office has been established in order
to offer customers from Finland, Estonia and other Scandinavian countries direct
support by phoenix|x-ray engineers. This support includes application and
technical service as well as any kind of consulting regarding high resolution
X-ray technology.
The facilities are situated at the Technopolis premises
only five minutes from Helsinki International Airport and include a spare part
stock for very fast support of local installations. A co-operation with
Electria/EVTEK located in the same building guarantees access to an advanced
demo system for presentations and tests.
The currently installed system
is a highly resolving nanome|x real-time X-ray system with high-power nanofocus®
tube, fully digital double detector for 70° oblique views and nanoCT unit for 3D
computed tomography. The system is equipped with multiple inspection software
modules for the fully automated inspection of BGA, QFP and PTH solder joints,
wire sweep analysis and automatic voiding calculation.
