Partnership between ACI and phoenix|x-ray enhances potential for analysis

01.02.2004 -

phoenix|x-ray Systems + Services Inc. now has a centrally located East Coast demonstration site.

We are proud to announce our partnership with American Competitiveness Institute and the EMPF group. EMPF is a U.S. Navy-sponsored National Electronics Manufacturing Center of Excellence focused on the development, application and transfer of new electronics manufacturing technology by partnering with industry, academia and government centers and laboratories in the U.S. ACI offers all kinds of support from component selection to design and system engineering. It has maintained an outstanding track record in the identification and solution of manufacturing technology issues for highly complex electronic components. An important factor in the engineering process is failure analysis, where it is of great importance to find out how things look inside the equipment or the assembly preferably without destroying it - this is where the microfocus X-ray test is the ideal option. For the qualification of high-grade and highly dependable components for aerospace applications, X-ray testing has long been a standard procedure.

ACI and phoenix|x-ray expect from this partnership a high degree of acceptance from both existing and new customers. Installed at ACI is the phoenix|x-ray pcba|analyser with OVHM (Oblique View at High Magnification) and a dual|mode (nanofocus & microfocus) tube. X-ray applications service is also offered and available with the phoenix|x-ray pcba|analyser at this location. A phoenix|x-ray Systems + Services Inc. office is also on site. The facility is located just outside the Philadelphia airport.
