UP Media Group Inc. today announced the winners of the 2003 Service Excellence Awards (SEAs) for Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) Providers and Electronics Assembly Equipment and Software Suppliers.
For the equipment and software suppliers awards, companies were rated on a scale of 1 (poor) to 5 (superior) in five categories: dependability; ease of use; responsiveness; technology; and value for price.
Electronics assembly equipment award
winners were: PVA (Halfmoon, PA) for dispensing; Siemens Dematic (New York, NY)
for pick and place; Teradyne Inc. (Nashua, NH) for repair and rework; DEK USA
Inc. (Fleminton, NJ) for screen printing; and phoenix|x-ray Systems + Services
Inc. (Camarillo, CA) for test and inspection with a score of 4.
