Despite the currently low output of major parts of the world wide electronic industries, PRODUCTRONICA 2001 which was held in Munich from November 6 - 9 turned out to be a very satisfactory trade show for phoenix|x-ray. Exhibiting seven different X-ray systems the company showed its outstanding capability in the field of X-ray inspection. Visitors mainly from all over Europe joined system demonstrations e.g. for the dedicated BGA, CSP and multilayer bareboard inspection. The highlight of the booth was the pcba|sentry, the first in phoenix|x-ray´s range of fully automated X-ray inspection systems. The pcba|sentry is a system dedicated to the analysis of assembled printed circuit boards and offers a special BGA evaluation software. A group of 13 staff members was at the visitors´disposal throughout the show.
