Aim and Scope

The International CT Symposium Dresden 2010 is addressed to experts, current and future users of all aspects of high-resolution computed tomography. The event will be a forum for conversation and discussion about the latest developments in CT technology and analysis methods as well as the future CT technology around the world, addressing research and industry topics, including material science, geology, biomedicine, 3D metrology, sensors and electronics.

The symposium is an opportunity to gain insight into the unique and versatile applications of high-resolution CT for 3D analysis and metrology and to benefit from the knowledge of experienced users.

Join the community of phoenix|x-ray´s high resolution CT-system users, meet leading-edge researchers and present your research results to a uniquely interdisciplinary international audience.

Deadline for abstract submission (not more than one page): 30 April 2010
Notification of abstract acceptance: May 2010
Deadline for late poster submission: 10 July 2010
Deadline for submission of final abstracts: 20 July 2010

Abstract Submission
All participants are invited to submit an abstract to present their results oral or in a poster session. Abstracts (max one page) should be prepared in Microsoft Word by using this template and submitted to Oliver.Brunke@ge.com. All abstracts will be subject to review of the organizing committee. All approved abstracts will appear in the conference book of abstracts. You will be notified by e-mail of your presentation type (oral presentation 15 minutes + 5 minutes discussion or poster). Posters will be displayed during the whole symposium.


Fees & Deadlines
225 € (Registration until March 31 2010)
250 € regular

The registration fee includes the expenses for the participation, the book of abstracts, lunch, refreshments during the coffee breaks, and two evening events including dinner.

Venue & Accommodation
All oral and poster sessions will be held in the Westin Bellevue Dresden Hotel, situated directly at the Elbe river in opposite to the historic city center and easy to reach via tram or by a 7 minutes walk from the city center.
